Community Access Project

A local voluntary group has launched a new community project to make public spaces more welcoming for everyone. The campaign focuses on improving access for people with (0) DISABILITIES and also encourages residents to donate useful items that are still in good condition. Organisers say the main aim is to remove practical barriers that can prevent people with a physical (1) .......... from taking part in everyday activities. As part of the project, volunteers are asking local people to give away books, chairs and small tables that are still (2) .......... mint condition. These will be repaired if necessary and then (3) .......... out to community centres and families in need. The group hopes the scheme will lead to (4) .......... participation in local events, especially among people who have often felt left out.
